Hovertrain at Railworld Peterborough in danger

Just found out that the Hovertrain at Peterborough has collapsed onto its section of concrete track. As no crane is available to lift it in one piece, it may be disassembled to lower it in two or more sections so that it can be saved.

Railworld is not eligible for any grants, so need money & labour to save this piece of British rail technology.

A brand new, 20-minute, standalone mini documentary that charts RTV 31's journey from Cranfield Institute of Technology to Railworld and how it has endured over the last 30 years.

While the air-hover part was quickly obsolete, RTV-31 moved forward by early Mag-Lev technology and so deserves a place in railway history.
