A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
As there's still no other way away from North East Lincolnshire, I shall say:

A trip with Northern Rail to Barton-on-Humber and back.

EDIT: That isn't hourly either, so there is actually no other way out.

This was the problem that we faced a week ago when we ended at Cleethorpes
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
Let us not forget, also, that the rules do allow us to make out-and-back trips using hourly or more services (i.e. we could have gone Sheffield/Cleethorpes return).

This was also posted at the same time last week.

Stuck now as nothing else out of Cleethorpes runs hourly. Unless we can make that an out-and-back?

I did not realise that. Okay then, scrap my Cleethorpes, let's go with Northern to Leeds; plenty of hourly or more options from a station with seventeen platforms.

Same service used as Paul's post directly before.

I thought Paul's was a 465 service? It could be a Victoria to Orpington service?

That ain't hourly, in fact it's only 1tpd direct!

I did guess that one! :P

Okay then, scrap all the recent posts, we're back at Haltwhistle. Let's take NT back to Newcastle.

Ah right. One other query though, Paul posted Brixton, how am I going on the same service back, as SE/FCC don't call at Brixton I thought??

Because the Sevenoaks post was from Bromley South. (It can't have been from Brixton as only the Orpington service goes that way.)
