This is a new trading name for services running in Shrewsbury and Market Drayton from September. Is this Centrebus being rebranded or splitting D&G off, does anyone know?
Isn't this just another branch of D&G Bus, similar in concept to Chaserider but adopting another 1980s era name?
Does anyone know where in Shrewsbury this depot will be?A depot is being opened in Shrewsbury and services have been registered by D&G Bus.
Shrewsbury I believe...Does anyone know where this depot will be?
I mean in shrewsbury obviously shouldve made that clearerShrewsbury I believe...
I thought the same about the 340.New timetables for route 20 (Shrewsbury - Radbrook Green) and 301 (Market Drayton Circular) now on Bus Times

Will be interesting if the 340 Whitchurch - Wellington moves over to Hotspur
If Hotspur ever won the 511 they could probably interworkEven the 41 could run from Shrewsbury with a similar dead mileage
Are you sure?Even the 41 could run from Shrewsbury with a similar dead mileage
Sure. If you want a stupidly unreliable bus, or very inefficient one. The 41 serves chester which has unpredictable heavy traffic. And the 41 timetable is built somewhat around some school transportation. The 511 serving Shrewsbury which somehow has even worse, unpredictable traffic. Especially from Harlescott into Shrewsbury near the train station. If Hotspur ever won the 511 they could probably interwork
The new livery has been revealed too. Red and blue with the stripe being tealNo need to be so bothered over that? Anyway Ive found out where the depot is now so it doesnt even matter....
Replying to my question, finally found out .Has the address of the new depot in Shrewsbury been released yet?
crossposting from the D&G threadThe Hotspur website is live too https://hotspurbus.co.uk/ , which seems to be very inconsistent on it being "HOTSPUR" (all capitals) and "Hotspur" (title case). I notice some special day return fares too, with a "connect ticket" ("Purchase a Hotspur Connect ticket on route 301 and use the same ticket to travel to/from Newcastle, Hanley or Shrewsbury on route 64 or to/from Whitchurch and Wellington on route 340") and a service 20 discounted return fare. I also notice they're using the myTrip app that D&G used to use before they made their own (also interestingly, the myTrip Hotspur "All Zones" ticket includes D&G, hopefully that won't cause confusion for D&G drivers).
