Hello!

I have a journey I need to make where I am going to get to London slightly too late for the last train to Heathrow.

So, I’m looking for a hotel next to either Hayes & Harlington or Slough, or possibly Paddington so I can get a few hours sleep before heading to Heathrow at 5am…

However the stay city at Hayes seems to be closed, as is the holiday inn express at slough and the Paddington options like Hilton and premier inn are nearly £200 for a night which I don’t want to spend on 4 hours sleep… don’t really to be walking too far from the station…

Any other suggestions?

PI 5 minutes from Hayes, at millington road. Sometimes can be pricey and it's not the best, but sounds like it would fit your purpose

If you can get to Hayes, you will be able to take either SL9/N140 to the airport (and save £7pp in the process).

The Holiday Inn Express T4 is quite cheap for a Airport Hotel (Usually around GBP100) but is in T4, which is very much inconvenient to reach from the Central Bus Station.

You can route (price is shown as addition to the £1.75 SL9/N140) :
- through the hourly 555/N555 bus (£1.25)
- through the hourly National Express N30/N40 (£2)
- Picc to Hatton Cross then 482/490 (£0)
- Picc to T5 then H30 (£0, would probably be my recommendation as H30 is the most frequent (every 15min), but if you can catch a direct bus, go ahead, transferring that route is very lengthy walking).

You can take the free Diamond Bus H30 (or any local TfL bus for £1.75) from T4 bus station to reach either T5 or T2/3 before trains start operating in the morning.

Very much second getting to heathrow via night bus. Premier inn T4 is often very reasonably priced. Hilton Garden Inn Hatton Cross is also a good shout for onwards free travel on the underground in the morning or a £1.75 bus to whatever terminal you need. All of the hotels on the bath road are also fine for getting a bus into Heathrow. Beware places that have " heathrwo" or "terminal whatever" in their title but have no useful transport to the airport. PS the hotel hoppa does not count as useful transport.
