Horsham, West Sussex, 2 Island 4 Platform junction station on the Mid Sussex/Arun Valley Line. Built in 1930's Southern style and recently refurbished to a high standard, from the footbridge can see on top of the ridged platform roofs a single steel wire held by insulator like fixings (nothing visible below) along both sides and looping round by the bridge. It's not electrical, think I know what it is but does anyone know for sure or want to guess?
An interesting feature is it's one end of the High Weald Landscape Trail with signs on the bridge but not clearly marked, other end seems to be at Rye station which is also Southern. Any other stations have footpath signs on them?
