Will Hornby continue to produce the class 67 & DVT train pack, and more importantly will anyone produce the W&S coaches in the correct silver livery?

It is a set I have always had lined up for my layout but with the sad demise of the company, will the full W&S rake every happen?

I spoke to staff in ModelZone a fortnight ago, who said the new livery coaches would be coming out in the next Hornby catalogue.

Wether or not they knew something, or were just trying to encourage me to purchase the 67+DVT there and then, we'll never know =P

Well fingers crossed they do. I want the W&S set but I want it in the full silver livery.

Yes, same, I don't quite see the point in having the "new" 67+DVT and "old" Mk3's.

Thats the only reason I have not bought the set up to now. I doubt they would stop production now, this will just make it more collectable I guess.

As much as id love a correct Wrexham & Shropshire set to be produced, i guess and gather that the main reason for Hornby to produce the Cargo D hire-ins, is that Wrexham's modified RFM gave another RFM Design - Which would require another tooling change for Hornby...Who seem to be content with only 1 RFM tooling - and that's not totally correct either!
