i am thinking about trying a new dcc controller i presently us the hornby select
no real problems fairly hassle free :D .
i have a small layout ,small terminus branchline/country station.
i have heard about the dynamis but have found that the display is to small and
to fine in regard to text on screen display .
was thinking about the elite but every one seems to bad mouth it surely it cant all be true.
i know the lite is more costly but its display look better.
the reason for the display been important is i am registered sighted and struggle greatly with small/fine text.any comment would be carefully thought over. :D

I have been looking at upgrading or changing DCC controllers on and off for a few months now but I have come to the conclusion that I can not find any reason to do so. I like the look of the Bachmann system but have heard some bad reviews from message boards and model shop staff, so I am leaving that one on the back burner for now. As for the Hornby Elite, I am struggling to justify spending that kind of money when what I have already is doing a good enough job, And there is always the option of buying a second standard Hornby DCC controller and connecting it to the one I already have when I start wiring up points etc.......

I think with this kind of area its see what works best for you, they will all control you trains well enough, it just depends how far you want to take your layout.
