Hornby 2009 - List Out Now!

Hornby have published 2009 release info, and there's a lot of items coming out!!

Hornby are being conservative of there D&E stock this year, but they are going to release a Hitachi Class 395 EMU Train Pack.

Only one HST by the looks of it, which is an MTU'd FGW HST.

Lots of new steamies, but were not bothered about them.

Devon Belle Observation Car is a new passenger car, which is sure to look good with all Southern Steamies, and sure to go fast!!!

This isn't a very good list as there is no new diesels and even these are rubbish. But the new class 395 Javelin should be good!

Ye, take the 1 HST, Hornby could release something like XC, NXEC, EMT, MML (Both) & the other 2 FGW liveries (There's been "Barbie" Mk.3s out for ages, why not make something suitable to haul them?)

Is it me or are Hornby going to use the new chassis on the 59? after all, it does say double bogie drive and pick ups on all wheels as per the cass 60.

Its just no one else seems to have picked up this point.

Quite impressed with the Steam list. Wouldn't mind a Clan or a SR Schools class. Also impressed now that there is some variation with the Pullman Coaches.

60040 looks impressive- can't wait 'til the 2nd quarter releases begin. Also looks as if they have released a few more weathered/vandalised wagons which look quite good.

I place a bet on it being the Limby version, so no working lights, and if their previous effort is anything to go by, it probably has the wrong light clusters anyway!

Yeah it probley is the lima verison which is not good , Lets hope that bachmann do the Class 59.

That's IF they do any D&E. like Hornby we are still waiting for the 150/1 & /2, and the 4-CEP or that EMU thing
When is Hornby's GC HST coming out? GC could of replaced the whole fleet with something else in the time it's took Hornby!!

the javelin sounds good and that new livery fgw hst looks nice! but it is still quite dissapointing, they are still lacking in emu's and london/underground related stock

Yep, the new HSTs do look good. Thinking of getting the Virgin for my rather small (not just being modest) collection.
