I see the original thread is closed.
I'd just like to say thank you to NR and Merseyrail.
It's taken them a while but the new 'standard' design station footbridge now sports overall glazing and we won't be paddling through it anymore everytime it rains.

Though it was still a bit manky after rain last week, I guess with mud off people's feet.
But much better.
