Worthing has Chichester University. For a start that must confuse people! Also, it isn't in Worthing, its in Chichester!!

Church Stretton has boards proclaiming it to be a walker-friendly town or somesuch.

Kemble's boards are advertisements for a local travel agency.

There are Swansea Metropolitan University boards up at Swansea (surprisingly) as well as the NR-style ones.

Dorking West's "Surrey Hills" board is next to a small industrial estate, complete with scrapyard.

The redeeming feature is that in theory you could walk to some quite scenic areas within a short time, as the rest of the town is OK and has easy access to footpaths leading up onto the hills. But still, it's not brilliant, especially given the alternatives!
