Holland railway trip advise

Hi

I am considering heading over to Holland in the next few month's to generally soak up the railway scene there.
so basically take pictures,ride various traction and even a preservation centre or two.
And i was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what I could do so like cheap railway network tickets,great location's or even package holiday deals.

You might be able to a get Eurodomino ticket for holland, otherwise try the NS day tickets:

Amsterdam - Centraal Station
Westerpark Jct. is a neat place to see nonstop action, see:

Utrecht - National Railway Museum
The huge modern NS station here is also an interesting place for spotting as well.

Those are the only places I can recommend to you, rent a bicycle and follow the rail lines!

Remember, don't flush the toilet in the station, as most all of their conventional rolling stock still adheres to that age-old system! (Don't look too closely at the tracks in any major station, either.)
