Hogan test

Hi all,

I recently passed the assessment centre for trainee train driver with Southern. I’ve been invited for a DMI but I find myself in a bit of a situation at the moment. I’ve been sent the hogan test to complete prior my interview but for some reason every time I try to log in says “invalid credentials “ and I need to complete it by today 17 July. Tried to contact them but I don’t think they work over the weekend so I am a bit confused about the whole thing. Does this mean I won’t be able to sit my interview which is at the end of this month? If anyone has been in this kind of situation or heard of it some advice would be much appreciated.

Congratulations on reaching that stage with Southern.

I can't personally say I've been in your situation with the invalid credentials situation however I would strongly recommend that you take a screenshot of it when trying to log in where it states invalid credentials so that should you need to speak with HR over the matter you have proof that the system wasn't working when trying to log in.

I realise that this likely won't answer your question but hopefully, it will help in the long run should you need to reach out to HR about it.

Thanks for reply. I did took a screenshot but unfortunately I don’t think I will be able to contact no one today, I will have to wait until tomorrow. All I hope is that they won’t cancel my interview.

All done. They resent me the log in details and managed to get it done. Now just getting ready for the DMI.
If you could tell me Any tips or what questions are being asked would be much appreciated. One specific question I struggle a bit with is the one “why do I want to work for that specific company “

Go along the lines of any growth they are planning. New stock. Exciting to be part of a company that's future is looking good.
Mention any investment that is being planned as that means a secure future etc.
