A friend wishes to travel from Hitchin to Lenham on Sunday 15th March, arriving late morning and returning from Sanding to Hitichin the following day; late afternoon. He has a Network Railcard.
The cheapest I can find him is an off peak return (not HS1) Hitchin to Ashford, stopping short on the outward journey at Lenham, combined with a single from Sandling to Ashford.
Hitchin Ashford - £29.05
Sandling Ashford - £3.55
Total £32.60
He would like to find the cheapest option but doesn't want anything too off the wall, anyone suggest anything better?
