I see from looking at national rail that a vehicle has hit a bridge in the Sheffield area with delays of around 90mins. The strange thing is exactly the same happened at this time yesterday evening!
I was caught up in the delays yesterday with one cross country train to Bristol finally getting into sheffield over 2 hours late. I believe yesterday's problems were made worse due to a fatality.
I'm just wondering if it's the same bridge that's been hit this evening and if there is a local diversion in place for roadworks or something? Seems strange for it to happen in the same area twice on successive evenings!?
Anyone got more information?
Many thanks
