This Sunday Hi Speed services are affected by engineering works at Ashford and so aren't running to Ramsgate or Margate.
Firstly does anyone know if they are taking some wierd bizarre route into Ashford as they get 10 minutes longer than normal in both directions from Ebbsfleet to Ashford.
Secondly they are extending the Faversham ones non-stop to Margate but not through to Ramsgate. They are running hourly "extra" trains from just Ramsgate to Margate however they leave at 59 past the hour arriving at 08 past into Margate just in time to wave goodbye to the 07 past to St Pancras...surely this could have been retimed a couple of minutes given its an "extra" train? Also Southeastern shouldn't really be allowed to claim this train as an extra either as it just replaces the normal through one from Charing Cross which now terminates at Ramsgate at 43 past (which obviously if it ran through to Margate would connect just fine!)
