Hi, I've just learned that I passed the online tests for a signal maintenance position. When should I expect to hear back from them and what is the usual hiring process ? Will this mean I'm guaranteed an interview? Thanks in advance

Timescales can vary from a few days to a few months, depends how quickly the applications are sifted. Passing tests doesn't guarantee an interview it depends on how well you scored against other candidates.

I don’t want to deflate you too much but it could be months before you hear anything more from them. The last technician job I applied for stayed at test completed for six months then they emailed me to say the position had been withdrawn!
Having said that you have made one step forwards in the process which is always a good thing.

Thanks for your replies. If it takes a long time would it be seen as bad form to apply for other network rail vacancies when they come up in the mean time?
