I think it’s been about 5 weeks what about you? What position did you go for if you don’t mind me asking?

Is that 7weeks of your status being invite pending? Seems a long time, but as everyone says on here it’s a waiting game with nwr

Cheers. The interview is for an operative roll. I've got 3 pending for other operative roles, 1 for signaller and 1 for crossing keeper. So hopefully 1 of them will come good. I just hope it doesnt look bad applying for so many!

Hi everyone,
Congrats on receiving an invite for the interview. Fingers crossed you will be successful.

I'm after some advice if possible? I applied for a position in Bristol at the start of Feb and the status on the careers page says 'Application Accepted' - I have rang and e-mailed the recruitment team and they advise me its with the hiring manager, the process normally takes 6 weeks but due to recent events things have been delayed. I appreciate the virus has caused major disruption however it has been 14 weeks now.

Shall I assume the role has now been removed for the foreseeable or carry on chasing? Any advice would be a great help.

Cheers

Hi JHarris, application accepted, means just that, it will change to “application under consideration” then to “invited to test” then you do the online tests, if you pass, it will change to “test completed” if you have passed, you may then make the hiring managers desk, then hopefully be asked to an interview!!!!

Had an email yesterday saying recruitment will begin again shortly and they asked me if I was still interested in the role. So hopefully I will hear something soon

Am I in order to ask if the job you are referring to is with Network Rail?

I've got a few applications on going with 3 x different TOCs that have been frozen since March.

I am hoping that with even more workplaces opening up on Monday (15th) there may be forthcoming developments round the corner for any of us with long running applications.

Hi CJ

Yes the role is with Network rail. It has been a long wait but looks like some light at the end of the tunnel so hang in there
