Hinged Signal Posts?

Hello all,

I'm new here so please be gentle with me!
I'm trying to research the use of hinged or wind down style signal posts.

I know they do exist but can't find much info via Google. Working at heights adjacent to 25,000 volts gives a strong case to do all maintenance at ground level but we still put up standard straight posts.

Does anyone have any information about where they have been used or trialled either in the UK or overseas?

They are on the Trent Valley section.

There are also some in the section Bletchely to Watford Jct.

There are wind-down prinmarily to remove the need for working platforms so as to comply with the absolutely crazy Working at Height Regulations, rather than the need to avoid OHL Equipment.

The smaller signal unit also requires a smaller post and a base that is only the size of a room rather than the complete house.
