Hi there, I am currently researching into the modernisation of rail in Europe and was interested in whether there are any high speed rail lines, typically tracks that allow speed in excess of 230kph, which also run freight trains on them.
The reason I ask is because freight trains travel a lot slower and also cause a lot more pressure on the tracks due to their larger weight. I just thought it would be interesting to see if this is possible.
