I blame all the crap that gets flushed down them.

OOI, anyone know the highest mileage a pooh could do between being produced and being removed from retention tanks? I guess some Virgin service could carry it around for a thousand miles or more.

Some people on slammers used to try and 'bomb' the level crossing (pedestrian) at Poole :lol:

Think that’s bad… a couple of years back I was on an overnight 757 flight from Toronto-Manchester. Upon visiting the facilities it seemed rather odd that it resembled more a volcano on the brinks of eruption…

…2 hours short of Ireland at around 3am the pilot informed us that Toronto ground crew had forgotten to empty the tanks from the plane’s previous flight. He went on to suggest that passengers try and withhold from using the facilities for the remainder of the flight and that we may land at Shannon; however luckily we made it to Manchester.
