Hi all

Bit of an obscure one, but I'm travelling to Manchester Airport next week from Chapel en le Frith, returning 3 days later.

I've been led to believe, fares are now pretty expensive on this route. I remember paying under £5 for a single to the Airport in June, I'd just wouldn't mind knowing how much to expect to pay! I don't want to take anymore English money than possible, more to lose

Cheers

Tom

Strange to see this new thread appear, as my wife and I decided to make our early New Year visit to Buxton by using the 199 service yesterday as part of a day out, after my wife decided we would first visit the "retail shrine" in Stockport called Debenhams to see if she could see anything in the sales.

It appeared that the drivers of High Peak on both the inward and outward journeys were having trouble with the ticket issuing machine. Are there any new problems that have recently occurred ?

By the way, the usual stands "A" and "B" at Stockport bus station that this bus uses seem to have been changed to a stand in the main body of Stockport bus station.

Shame to see that the Jodrell Arms at Whaley Bridge still has the protective metal screens in situ.
