Hi,
Anyone aware if this UK Railtours.com 5 Jan 13 special is still on? And if so what are the timings? I can only quote from website that Loughbro departs at 10h10 and so only guess at times to say Shirebrook 11h00 and say Shireoaks 12h15. Anyone?

Should run, tickets have been sent out already but no detailed times available yet, best I can find at the moment is:
High Marnham 12:30 to 12:50
Shireoaks 13:39 to 13:41
Tinsley 15:06 to 15:25

Passing time at Shirebrook on the outward leg looks to be 11.18. It then calls at Shireoaks 13.39 to 13.41 on the way from High Marnham to Tinsley, returning via Chesterfield from there.

From what I've read it certainly has, however it was 60 down earlier this afternoon. I'm not sure how it's faired since, but it is definitely running nonetheless.

Yes it ran ...... late ... 1 hour late through Maltby & Firbeck Junction. I guess it would have been virtually dark by time it reached Tinsley at say 16h15 so not much chance of any interesting photos worth looking at ... even if they could be seen.
Interesting mix of coaching stock and colours, everything from GWR Chocolate & Cream, Blood & Custard, Midland Maroon to BR blue & cream, Mk2 & 3's. Shame cos sun was perfect at scheduled time but gloom by time it arrived. I had a perfect shot setup with sunlight picking up midges buzzing about in sunlight against dark background .... but nowt there to shoot.
Looked well full and possibly a near sell-out. Next time I shall make the effort to join it at say Derby or Chesterfield. Maltby pit now doomed and due for the axe.

Got to Tinsley with just enough light to see but lost more time on the way in there due to what looked like a level crossing failure. An interesting tour, no new track for me but interesting to revisit places that I have not been to for a fair few years (nearly 21 in the case of High Marnham!)

Yes, interesting mix of colours, but just a minor correction on the types - it was nearly all Mk1s apart from two Mk2s (opening window types). Included a generator van at one end (ex Mk1 BG), and at least two Mk1 catering vehicles, a kitchen and a buffet I think.
Was on time or a couple of mins early at Shirebrook going out, but over an hour down past Brookhouse viaduct. Then it passed Magna, Rotherham, at about 1610, just enough light for a very poor photo at 1/125 sec and ISO 3200.
