Is this the only entrance to Gravelly hill station?
No. I looked at the sign, saw it pointed along the road to disabled access, and found, on the more main road of "Hunton Hill", this. Not signed clearly, but is this a third enteance, being disabled access to the other platform?

No, the principal ramp access is located at the road junction adjacent to the road bridge over the line. There is also access to the Lichfield bound platform from the other side of the road bridge.

Hyde North is pretty well hidden as the road that serves it is old cobbled one and the tunnel under the line does not allow space for two cars to pass each other, so the road is not used that much.
The other one that springs to mind is Middlewood, which is in the middle of a wood and can only be accessed on foot.

I've been a regular at Gravelly Hill for nearly 20 years. I wouldn't really call it hidden, especially not since they cut down all the trees around the station a few years ago.

Addiewell on the Edinburgh - Glasgow Central via Shotts route is pretty well hidden away, although slightly better since they opened the access road to the adjacent prison. Google maps has not been updated to show improvements. I only visited it for the first time last summer, having been regularly passing within half a mile of it for the last 30 years. The National Rail website (http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/stations/sjp/ADW/objectvalues/1029-0000017.html ) makes it look even more remote than it is.

there are signs tho both on Dukinfield Rd and Ashton Rd (I live in the neighbourhood lol)

Not so much hidden in itself as once your there you cant miss it, but Cambridge Station is no where near the city centre. So much so that a bus is quickest to get from the centre to the station.
Always get tourists asking me amongst various others if this is the right bus :L

I think you could include Stamford in this as it's kind of hidden away on a small housing estate with hardly any signage telling you where it is.

Hi all, How about Anderston on the Glasgow Central to Partick Line. The station building is under the approaches to the Kingston Bridge in Glasgow. It,s actually on Argyle Street.

Bagshot, on the Ascot-Aldershot line, is quite well-hidden. As is North Camp (if changing on foot, don't follow the signs after around a quarter of a mile from Ash Vale - you'll end up on an industrial estate!)
The best example from my neck of the woods would be Longcross on the Waterloo-Reading, only accessible on foot from the Longcross branch of QinetiQ, or by crossing a golf course. The station is seven miles or so from Longcross itself, and inaccessible by road vehicle. It's only a few trains per day in each direction: otherwise, one assumes, you have to stick your hand out and hope the driver is both generous and ahead of time.

Cooper Bridge station on the Calder Valley line was an unprepossessing archway under a low bridge.
Wakefield Westgate's old entrance on the main road, although not hidden, was tiny for the size of station.

Oh my God. I vote this as post of the year so far!
Erm, yes, I know the song is called 'Bright Eyes' and from 'Watership Down'. It is just a tad famous you know. Talk about missing the point completely. Did you seriously think I understood the song to be about a station in Sheffield? Did you think I wrote the lyrics out word for word or in fact copied and pasted the lyrics and changed "Bright Eyes" to "Brightside"? The joke works on many levels. The level I particularly like is the wink to the opinion that the often maligned Art Garfunkel was always seen as having less talent to the great Paul Simon, what with Simon being the main songwriter, with the idea that he was trying to compete with Simon and his song 'Homeward Bound' by getting someone else to write a song about a particularly grim station in a depressing part of Sheffield.

If I were going from Aldershot to Reading (and was reasonably mobile, of course) I'd just walk to North Camp and then pick the train up from there - going via Ash Vale is more faff than it's worth, especially given the poor signange. (The trick is to follow the road and ignore the signs until you reach the level crossing. Or follow a 41 bus.)I actually did this the other week at this very station!
Getting from Aldershot to Reading is a right pain.
I'd disagree there - the access by the new health centre is not the 'main' entrance so is not signposted. The car park is specifically not for rail users as it belongs to the Miners Welfare on one side and the health centre on the other. This is the space by the Trent Valley bound platform.
The main entrance is up a side road off Main Road Brereton to the Birmingham bound platform, but is really well signposted from most approaches to Rugeley. Its a slightly grim car park, but nothing much seems to happen to cars there.
Denton in Manchester is not the easiest to find, as it is below a slip road which in itself is below the M57. Not enough revenue in about five years to pay for a new sign though, I wouldn't have thought!

You're right there, I believe that CCF23 on this forum managed to miss an hour's connection at Cambridge station because he tried to walk to the town centre and didn't realise how far it was

Coombe Jct on the Looe Branch (middle of nowhere).
Saltash, round the one way system and then you park up next to a demolition site!
Hampton Wick, at the end of a cul de sac that looks like a railway bridge.
Llanwrst North, down the cutting next to the overbridge only a sign on the bridge gives it away.

Alfreton and Mansfield Parkway, the euphemism for absolutely nowhere near when Road had served its purpose for the same thing, caught out many a visiting supporter hoping for a brisk walk to Field Mill. More like a very expensive taxi journey away.
