Tried to search for connections on Splitticketing & Trainsplit no results came back for trains , i know there are regular cancellations replaced by bus , its almost as if they do not want you to travel any more!.

I'd recommend going to Morecambe and then getting a bus (by that I mean a scheduled bus which will likely be operated by Stagecoach.)
