Are these relatively new?

https://www.heathrowexpress.com/tickets-deals/prices-fares

£6.99 single if booked 90 days in advance, £10.75 30 days and £16.10 7 days in advance. Not tied to any service, just has to be used on the specified day. e- or m-tickets only.

Will make leisure travel on HEx a lot more affordable given that most holidays etc are booked well in advance.

Have they had consultancy from Virgin on how to make fares as impenetrable as possible? 13 different products, for a company which operates a shuttle between two places!

Can you get further discounts with railcards on these? That'll add a few more permutations to the mix...

Given how long I had to wait for my bags last week at Heathrow, I almost qualified for the 7 day advance discount. ;)

Can't see it mentioned anywhere, however the online booking engine offers the same prices for these "Advance Saver" tickets when a Railcard was selected.

A quick look at the terms and conditions link on the page cjohnson mentioned above finds...
Advance Tickets cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion, offer, discount or any other train company special offers.

...which is borne out by searching with a Railcard discount selected.

Fair enough. Still makes the 90 or 30 day prices cheaper, but not the 7 day ones.

Must remember to book ahead for my trip away this Christmas!
