Hi, I've "lost" some Sessions associated with a Route of mine in Trainz 2006 so I'm wondering if anyone can advise on how to recover them (they're backed up).

[ Pause for laughter - yes, I know; but I've been building some ambitious routes of my own over many years with the easy-to-use editor and all the free assets that came with that edition of Trainz)

I was editing my Route "Andes" in a big way, so didn't want to lose the work; but inadvertently saved it without the Sessions that used to be attached. Fortunately I had backed it up onto an external hard drive before editing it; so I have the old route - Andes1 and sessions - on HDD and the new route - Andes2 with no sessions - on my PC. I can find many files including (in Local) the relevant Config. folders that, on inspection seem to be the route and sessions in question; but I have really no idea what to do with them!

Can anyone advise? Many thanks! In anticipation of any help offered I have copied the back-up back onto my PC, as a separate group of folders, ready to dive in; so I have the 2 collections side by side.

It's a while since I've used 2006, but if you go to Content Manager, you should be able to find the option for 'import content files' to reimport the sessions. Be careful not to reimport the route files though as you'll lose anything you've done recently.

Thanks for the suggestion - I haven't had time to sit down and have a look yet (I want to have my wits about me when I do!); but I'll report back.
