Help With Highland Mainline Act Creation

I have been trying to put together a short activity for HML & it involves rescuing a stuck 37 & some Tankers at Carbridge then taking the same to Inverness yard Problem is I have to wait on 2 trains one local Pass & one Goods both en route from Inverness So I was supposed to be held in the loop that is approx 4.5 miles North of Carbridge, problem is I get held at the signal just before the loop & then I never go anywhere Or the advancing trains can not pass So I assume they are held some were along the line too .
Any Ideas what I have done wrong all paths are custom made & I have even altered it to let both trains swap what side of the loop they enter but results are the same .

I have even deleted the first AI service but this only allows me to travel a further 2.5 miles & the same thing happens again I get held before being allowed in to the loop & I can see the AI train in the same position in the distance It is not being allowed to enter the mainline

Any Ideas suggestions or advice would be as always greatly appreciated

Sounds like a timing issue - long sections of single track - no idea apart from adjust the AI service times to an earlier start

Tried your suggestion & it looked like it was Gonna work when tested in AE the First AI service was now waiting on me ,so enough of the theory time for to put it into practise leaving Carbridge I'm on approach for 4.7 Miles About 1.5 miles later I crash with the First AI train

This is becoming more trouble than it is worth I think its into the recycle bin for this one , I can not understand as I have done at least 6 or 7 other acts for this route without any stand off problems

Just for the record Guys I just scrubbed this one by the way Thanks for the advice & suggestions and I'm Sorry for being so slow to respond I have been in hospital for past 12 Days
