Help with driving the Flying Scotsman in Train Sim.

So I am new to steam trains and have been having fun driving the Flying Scotsman on the WCML. I have gotten pretty good and can get the train up to speed and brake when needed. One thing I'm not sure about is when to open the Firebox to load more coal. One tutorial I saw said to keep the coal close to whatever level it's at, but it starts over 90%. So do I just keep the coal in that general range, or is there more too it?

Hi there, though I can't personally help I would suggest watching one of the plentiful tutorials on YouTube, particularly ones uploaded by the developers of the game.
