well you see i am not saftey critical so our soap comes in handy little dispensing machines and is more of a gel than a lather. So i dont have to actually handle the stuff

We also buy all of the soap be it gel or your old fashioned stuff and distribute to to people all over the country

What you have written could put you behind bars, if rhe process to get there is agreed.

I have no idea where you guys think you are going but I strongly suggest you step back.

Really, so all engineers that post non commercial details of things in this forum should be put behind bars?

I know how to de-fraud TWPS systems if I sit near the cab I can force a TWPS activation... should I be behind bars?

dont drop the soap:roll:

Not entierly sure what you have done to deserve conviction but see you in 5 years!

Maybe he wants to drop the soap? Some sodomy can be fun....

You can't give him that advice out on a forum. You might not be qualified. He must enquire via his immediate line manager, who will endeavour to track down suitable people in the "Stereotypical Prison Rape Scenario Defence" defence department to give a brief on avoidance techniques, and proper soap handling.

It's the same as you get in the MoD, it's called soap on a rope, never had interest in such a device myself, although it does prevent you dropping it, apparently.

Funny this should come up, I've just started watching The Blues Brothers, as Jake is released from prison and is getting his belongings reissued.

"One Timex digital watch, broken. One unused prophylactic." <beat> "One soiled".

Pound coin holder, empty.
Afro comb.
One set of car keys attached to a keyring.. "I've stroked a beaver at Drayton Manor. Have you now?

One pornographic magazine... The Finger Club.
One packet of condoms... ribbed for the ladies' pleasure.. flavour: Biscuit.

I've only ever seen soap wall dispensers in one place with showers, that *coughs* I'm err not mentioning.

Also, biscuit flavour condoms, the lady would be worried about putting on weight...

Obviously those 40 years in communication has been wasted as I certainly dont know where you are coming from or going to after a post like this but I strongly suggest you step away from the keyboard:idea:

Seriously, Jesus wept:roll:
Although I assume that was possibly due to a lack of soap on a rope:)

You're not the only one, the logical conclusion I can come to is that all engineers should be put behind bars, see you in the clink? (According to daikilo)

Look at it from a health and safety perspective. Which profession insists on using heavy machinery, digging holes, climbing tall structures, fiddling about with services, working on railway lines and roads, working outdoors where surfaces have not been wiped down with an anti-bacterial spray, etc, etc

Of course the worst sin from a health and safety perspective, is that we tend to enjoy doing it. They will not be happy until they have sucked all the joy out of life, and replaced it with grey forms in triplicate. :(

When I worked on the Southern at 75A (or rather close!) we used to get 13p a shift DWA, (dirty work allowance). It was paid if you had to work on the underframe within 4 feet of a lavatory outlet pipe...

I always said it should have been called SWA...

There was also the 25p a shift allowance for driving a BR car or van.
An allowance for working in tunnels.
An allowance for working at height. (Strangely the only place on our division that qualified for that was a tunnel.)

Most of these allowances were tiny, but were religiously booked.

There were three that were religiously booked when I was a fitter back in the early 80s, DWA (Dirty Work Allowance), ELA (Electric Lines Allowance) and of course DA (driving allowance) claimed when we went on a track call to Eastbourne, Three Bridges, Littledick or on a breakdown (Derailment).
