Hi,

Following a hard drive failure the other week, I've reinstalled Windows, only to find that it hangs during boot up (result of a driver conflict) and had to recover using recovery console and boot using last known good cofiguration. When I tried to start BVE, it prompts me to reinstall again, so I did only to find that net framework wasnt installed due to the rollback I made. When I tried to reinstall net framework, I received this message and pressing retry has no effect...

I tried cleaning up the registry but this did not work. Any ideas? Help appreciated.

some may not. Mine didn't. I suggest installing 1.1, then install 2.0 . It should be ok then. If there are more problems, then put a scrennie on here, so we can sort out the problem

Lost!
I also just reformatted my PC two days ago but yesterday I then install .Net Framework. Though I have .Net Framework 1.0 in my disc I did a big skip, I immediately installed 2.0 then 3.0 but never experience any problem except the part where the SP2 installation refuses to close after it has complete. And I did a Google Search on it, it seems that it has nothing to do with installing 1.1 as you can see from my case. According to Microsoft Forum they did has such problem but a solution which I think it will not work with EB but nevertheless here is the website.

Hi guys,

I've sorted it out. It appears that some part of the registry keys were deleted during the roll back and some were not. Therefore I encountered an error during reinstall. I downloaded a third party .net framework uninstaller and I managed to reinstall it without problem after.
