When I did my conductor assessments last year, I was told you can only have two goes at them.

Would the online test count as one as I done it for conductors position but did not meet the minimum points required?

Thanks for all comments!!!

The online part does not count as a fail, it is a sort of pre-sellection process.

You get 2 goes at the assessments for drivers and 2 goes at the assessments for guards roles.

As far as Guard's go it can vary from TOC to TOC. SWT for example will allow you sit the assessments more than twice while others will not. For driving however is two strikes and that's your lot.

Some people (like me) think its better to get another job (pretty much any job) with a TOC to get on the ladder, then you will have access to the internal vacancy list plus you will be able to prove to the TOC that you are a good worker.

Other say its better to try and go for the job you want along with thousands of others straight away.

You pays your money and takes your choice.
