Help please, tomorrow, Saturday. EMT

Thanks to the kind help I received earlier in the week I then went ahead and booked a first return from Leicester to London tomorrow (two singles, they were cheaper).

But now we have problems due to the heat.

Can I go/come back via Nuneaton into Euston? And can I sit in first? And can I go on any train seeing as my booked seat ticket (only valid on the precise train down and precise train back) may not exist or run at a different time. OR do I have to catch the closest in time.

I have to go down because I've booked an expensive theatre ticket.

Is there any way I would qualify for delay repay if I arrive in London later?
