I need some help please, I have some railtour logs and spotting books damaged beyond recognition by flood damage.

Can anybody help with sightings etc on the following dates below.

10-02-1973 Mystery Excursion ( Merry Maker No3 ) Starts London Euston

24-04-1974 The Powysman Railtour

16-11-1974 "Autumn Rideabout" Mystery tour ( Merry Maker No224 ) Starts London St Pancras

17-05-1975 LNER Society " The Cambrian Coast Express " starts London Euston to Carnforth,Ulverston,Ravenglas.

11-02-1979 RPPR The Crewe Campaigner London Padd to Crewe via Worcester

20-08-1984 The Northern Belle

28-09-1985 SLOA The South Yorkshireman

I would be really grateful for any info that can be provided,
I have also searched SixBells Junc and other internet searches.
I'm afraid it's proper spotting books if possible

Thanks

Andy

Probably a long shot but have you tried Flickr? Some pics have an extensive description/story with them

Morning Rick,

Yes I have tried Flickr,it is copies of actual logs I need.
The ones I have are damaged / ruined by flood damage.

Thanks anyway

So are you looking for lists of locos etc. Spotted by people actually from the tour?

Hi Tim,

In a nutshell yes, any info on spottings, timings, loco's for haulage etc.

The books I have are damaged.

I would like copies or scanned copies. I know it is a lot to ask regarding time scales.

Thanks

Andy
