Help identifying a train..

Could a knowledgable person on here solve a mystery for me? I was on the 2134 Kings Cross to Royston service tonight, and just before Finsbury Park we passed a plain-coloured Hitachi (I think) train going south. It's front end was similar to those that are operating on South Eastern's High Speed service.

From the Class 800 thread it was quite probably 800012 being delivered to North Pole.
