Help -> Hand Cranks with Engaging Clutch?

Good Afternoon everyone!

I'm looking for the particular name given to hand cranks that engage and disengage in a way similar to safety handwheels installed in filing cabinets, as in this case.

I've found these "Floatable Winch Handles" that look to be similar to what I'm looking for, but they're all specifically for nautical applications and haven't found anything with that name for furniture and machinery.

I remember some throttle levers in LU Stock and other EMU's/DMU's to work in a similar manner, where the lever is free to rotate around until it is engaged/clutched, to act on the throttle.

Can anyone tell me how an engaging/floatable hand crank is called?

Thank you for your help, but a ratchet isn't really what I'm looking for, unfortunately.

I need a handle/hand crank that can work when rotated either side but can be disengaged by pulling/pushing on it along the axle.
I can't use a safety handwheel because it would block the doors from a switchboard from being open, and also can't use a fixed axle crank to prevent accidental touches from messing up the tuning of the machine.

Sorry, I thought you needed some English words to describe that sort of mechanism. What about having a removable handle?

Having words would help me further investigate alternative products and suppliers, and eventually extend that search in other languages.
I found some leads but I might not be using the correct terms. Since some throttle levels have the mechanism I'm looking for, I'd expect that it has a proper name...

About the removable handle... I was asked to find for the float solution specifically, so I deduce that a removable solution is out of the question, probably because of fears that the handle can be lost...

Try googling "push to turn knobs" you'll get a lot of small knobs for electronic equipment but also various other things like door knobs, you might find something there. It is good idea to do an image search as well.

I think you may be mistaken as to the operation of the throttle levers on the tube stock. For the picture you shared, I was under the impression that they were always engaged, but the ability to depress the handle served as a deadman functionality, ie with it raised it electrically cuts out any traction demand and dumps the brakes - I certainly don't think you could spin them around freely with them in the raised position!

I got to search the term in English, French, Italian, German, Russian and Japanese. They selected two low profile levers from Ganter and Kipp.
