Hi there looking for some help please i would like to travel between CAMBRIDGE TO GLASGOW return
between the 28/10-2/11 i am flexible +- 1 day
there will be
4 or 5 adults
4 children
2 infants
not fussed about east coast or west coast
changes to be kept to a minimum but can cope if we need to

This is my first time asking for fares so please be kind also
has anyone used first class with kids as i thought some FC fares are only like a few quid more cheers

That size of group would qualify for East Coat's 'small group' discount.

Just looking at the East Coast site;
28/10 dep 11:00 arr 19:22, chg Peterborough & Edinburgh £263.20
2/11 dep 16:15 arr 23:03, chg Haymarket & Stevenage £168.95

That's £432.15 in total (standard class, 5 adults, 4 children). A Family & Friends Railcard brings that down to £379.95.

Splitting tickets to get cheaper journeys may be difficult for that many people - not just keeping you together, but keeping you on the same train!
