Do you only want to get to King's Cross, or will you be travelling around London? Would you like some flexibility in which train you get? It may be worth splitting at York and Grantham.

Grand Central have priced themselves out of the market now, otherwise I'd have suggested them.

Is the 59.00 for both of you?
You won't get £15ish each way singles at this short notice, so no it won't be.

im off to a football match at tottenham ( only got the match tickets today otherwise would of booked train tickets a while back) any london station to be honest because we are catching the tube to tottenham,

and the 59.00 pound fare has dissapeared, ive found it for 67.50 each on the trainline.com. is that my best bet before fares go to full price??

You can get Northerallerton to Kings Cross for £60.05 each from EastCoast.co.uk

Leaving Northallerton at 09:43 arriving at the Cross for 12:20 for £33.80.

Leaving the Cross at 18:00 changing at York and finally arriving at Northallerton at 20:51 for £26.25.
Or direct from the Cross at 19:00 arriving at Northallerton at 21:21 for the same price.

You may find it cheaper to book to White Hart Lane, this will include travel between King's Cross & Seven Sisters on the Victoria Line. Northumberland Park can be useful as hardly any of the crowd go there compared to WHL.

You will be lucky to be on the 18:00 from King's Cross. Do you know how bad the queues can be at White Hart Lane station? It's a long walk (30 mins but allow more, bearing in mind crowds) to Seven Sisters or Tottenham Hale but probably worth it as there will be less queuing. I would not buy Advance tickets for the 18:00 though unless you want to leave the match early! If you miss it your tickets will be worthless and it would cost an additional £40ish to come back on the 19:18 or £90ish to come back on the 19:00.
