Hello everybody, ive recently found this forum and found it really helpfull so i thought i best register and so here i am.
I am currently employed in the public sector and we are getting hammered from pillar to post so the time has come to move on to pastures new so to speak. I have a friend who is a train driver and he has been giving me advice but i would also welcome any from here especially when it comes to finding available positions. I am northwest based and could do with knowing which are the best sites to register with or which TOC's i should really be looking at for trainee driver or depot driver positions, any help would be appreciated.
Cheers

:D

Hi and welcome! Have a really good look around the forum for a good idea of the recruitment process and tips on assessments / what to practice etc. I suggest you register on TOC websites but also keep looking at their careers sections every few days. As seen on here, 1 TOC had an applications deadline of 24 hours. You may be best to concentrate on TOCs with depots within an hour's drive of home. Good luck!

Register with any TOC that has a depot 50 minutes or less travelling time from your fixed address unless you are willing to relocate.

I'm north west based mate, the TOC's I've registered with haven't been great at sending jobs advertised so don't rely on them.

Best to do as stated before and check the websites/facebook pages daily.

Agreed, you need to check every day to be in with a serious chance.
