How many times have we come across this, people must get a kick from ignoring people.

"hi", pereson goes offline, now thats the worse one i think. (If it was face to face, i would have hit them for ignoring me lol)

"Hi, go on webcam"
"No, its broke, im eating, im busy, lol funny excuses they come up with.

"Hi"
"im busy"
"then why are you online then" lol


Can anyone else think of any annoying little things like this when it involves talking to people online.

tbh honest i WAS worried about the economic situation, the problems in the middle east, the potential cuts in public services, a war in Afghanistan, the cost of fuel, ultilites and food whether i will have a job next month, quarter or year, will i have enough money to keep the roof over my head and whether people close to me are happy and healthy amongst other things

However, i now realise that these pale into insignificance alongside the problems of people being on line on social networking sites and not partaking in virtual conversation. I have an idea - give them a call on that telephone thingy!

FFS if that is all you have to worry about you are a very lucky boy!

Though with regards to the poor excuses, if people are sending them to you, then the answer is quite clearly 'go away!'

Yes, plenty, but it's not important enough to complain about on here. If it bugs you that much, don't talk to them - let them start the chat.

Or even better wait until you see them in real life (yeah real life it doesnt have a screen and buttons) andd speak to them then. LOL

I think someone was in a very cynical mood when they posted that. BTW why do you worry about Afghanistan? It doesnt yet affect you personally but I do get your point.
To the OP maybe the person doesnt want to speak to you at that point. I have that where I'm busy doing something else on facebook like trying to chat someone up and then you get some b****** that pops up trying to start a conversation.

You are right that it doesnt concern me directly in that i am not doing the actual fighting (thankfully!) but they are so we dont have to i suppose.

I'd definitely find being told to "F*** off" quite offensive.

But everything you have mentioned seems perfectly legitimate and normal, in fact it sounds like you suffer from a case of either anxiety or paranoia.
