I'm looking for OpenBVE routes and trains and can't find many, just downloaded the Northern Line route but it's just saying there were loads of errors, and all i get is the cab and a signal and just pitch black!

Can anyone help me?

thanks.

Just make sure everything's in the right folder, most routes come as object, timetables (known as route files) and sounds, which each need to go in your OpenBVE folder/UserData/LegacyContent/Route for Route files etc... (at least it is in the latest version I have) they usually come as separate downloads. There are also separate Train downloads as well :)
