I downloaded 'Hellfire' a long time ago now and i'm getting sick of the BTP coming in and stopping my game! I am thinking of purchasing a licence key but when i click the link on the website it is dead. I cant find an email either and it doesnt let you post on the 'Hellfire' forum without a log in which it seems you cant make?! Can anyone PM me with an email address or point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Hi Birdbrain, I bought the full game a few weeks ago, like you I discovered a problem with IE connecting to Paypal, I loaded Chrome and got it sorted. I got my key via email from Mike a couple of days later. The link I used to the main site is www.railrover.co.uk.
There is also an excellent discussion forum where I've found lots of tips about the game. As a 'silver surfer' and ex-railman, I enjoy this game as I loved the railway under BR and the game gives you that feel. Good luck and enjoy! Feel free to PM and I'll give you all the info I can.

Thanks, I cant wait to get started properly. When you finish each week, does your moves book automaticcaly update your needs list or do you have to go into the text file and delete all the locos that you've had?

At the end of the week you have the option of saving your moves back aswell as your 'new' needs list. May I recommend also getting the Warspite Database thing to keep track of your mileages?

Currently plodding through clearing my 40s for a grand!

Hi Birdbrain, at the end of each game week you will be prompted to save your weeks moves and your needs list. I tend to save the needs list under a filename such as 'needswk5' for example. When you start a new week you are asked to load the saved needs list before selecting your starting station. Hope that makes sense, I'm okay at doing things, but not at explaining the steps (probably cos I'm getting on a bit, lol!).
Have you had your key yet? Got mine within a couple of days via email.

I've had a look at it, looks like fun :)

It certainly is, I did have a bit of a problem downloading the demo files but now up and running on the full game. It's amazingly addictive when you set about clearing your locos.:D
There's also an excellent game forum which has many tips for playing the game. If you'd like more background feel free to PM me and I'll give you all the gen I can.:D
