Hellfire HST drag........

After catching fire near Reading yesterday while towing FGWs new 'refreshed' HST from OOC to Laira 47714 was rescued by 47828. This also failed so this evening 31128+31452 have dragged 47828+47714 plus a 2+6 HST set as 5Z77 18:30 Bristol TM to Laira. Shame it was dark! What a working!!

4 BR locos dragging a 2+6 HST...Man I wish I had seen it! Might have made the 31s thrash out a bit!

Well have seen no reports of it actually making Laira as yet!! Has probably expired at Bedminster!!

Oh, further updates suggest the four locos came off and the set was dragged by a pair of back to back power cars........ Hard to tell as I havnt got TOPs at home and Yahoo Groups seem to have 'jacked'.

The Peds were sent to collect the jacked Duffs and power cars 43030+161 I think were sent to drag the HST to Laira, though it is unsure this happened.
