Hey all,
This is more in hope than anything, but does anyone understand how to make Heightmaps for OpenTTD please? I have tried following the instructions on the OpenTTD wiki, but cant make head nor tail of it, and even then it says something about the file type .tar, which I am unfamiliar with.
If yes, would someone be able to provide me with a tutorial please? In return, I would be happy to provide everyone with a new scenario based on any demonstration Heightmaps they may be willing to send me (no larger than 262,144 squares [512x512/1024x256/2048x128] please; it takes too long otherwise!) for me to use as a guide. (Please allow 72 hours for generation of any new scenario.)
