Heathrow terminal 2 drop off

Morning - tomorrow I have to do a drop off at T2 at Heathrow. It is a good 10 years since I drove to Heathrow and i have a couple of questions:

  • Is Heathrow in any of the congestion/ULEZ zones?
  • Is there a drop off area these days?
  • Is there a charge for drop off?

Separately, as I have to get down there early, is there anywhere nearby I can watch the planes for a bit and take some photos and not get hassled while having a coffee before driving back?
