Are there trains between Heathrow terminals on Boxing day, and also between Paddington and Heathrow? Thanks

By the looks of it, there will be a service between terminals but nothing to Paddington. May be wrong though.
Yup, inter terminal shuttles are planned (all using HX stock) but nothing out onto the GWML towards Paddington at all. (which is fairly standard for Boxing Day outside of global pandemics, they didn't run anything at all on Boxing Day 2020/2021 I don't think)

Heathrow Express are running a full inter terminal transfer service throughout the Christmas period; which is the minimum they try and run every year. Slightly reduced frequency from previous years to 3tph on the Terminal 5 to provide resources to run to Terminal 4. HEx 387s still only permitted to run as 8 cars so it’s not possible to have enough sets down in the tunnels to do full 4tph on both branches; not that T4 really needs it at the moment still.

Service pattern will be:

CTA <> T5 every 20 minutes xx00/xx20/xx40 off T5 and xx10/xx30/xx50 off CTA
CTA <> T4 every 30 minutes xx04/xx34 off T4 and xx16/xx46 off CTA

No access on/off the Airport Branch due to engineering work - it’s been many years since HEx have run to Paddington on Christmas Day / Boxing Day at this point.

I stayed at a large Heathrow hotel at Christmas a few years ago to escape a family Christmas & took the Heathrow Express into Paddington on Boxing Day for something to do.

Only trouble was the options of things to do in London where quite limited in the centre. Until early afternoon it seemed only bookshops where trading.
