No you dont have to fly to use them. I have used them many times (even riding multiple times on them) and never had any problems. You can ride them as many times as you want. They go between Heathrow Terminal 5 (from the end of the Car Park) and Business Car Park A and Business Car Park B.

No worries. Yes i would definitely recommend a ride on the Pods. They are quite interesting. The 360s on the terminal shuttles are nice as well if you havent already been on them.
