Not sure if this is in the right thread.

Yesterday I travelled from Paddington to Heathrow Central on a HEx train. Unfortunately when I tried connecting to the free WiFi on my iPhone, it just didn't seem to work. The phone showed up as being connected to the 'expresswifi' network, however nothing loaded up on Safari. Normally I would have expected to come to a register or login screen for the WiFi provider (who I believe is TMobile in this case), however nothing at all came up.

Has anyone else had problems with their WiFi? This isn't the first time I've experienced problems.

I'm not sure if it is T-mobile anymore as the log in page just displays HEx branding as do the window stickers. It's probably Vodafone now as they advertise on the outside of each of the units!

Certain units do have problems with their Wifi and the depot relies on a contractor to fix them. So perhaps a certain number need to break to justify calling the contractor out? Just a theory.

If u have problems then mention it to the onboard staff who can ask the driver to report the problem to the depot. Also probably best to fire off an email / letter / phone call to customer services, so they can chase it up.
