Over a month ago, I mailed a Delay Repay claim to Heathrow Express to the address given in section 4.5 of their conditions: https://www.heathrowexpress.com/conditions-of-carriage namely

Customer Relations Department
Heathrow Express
Freepost LON 16331
London
W2 6BR

It has just been returned by Royal Mail marked "address gone away".

This is a novel way to get out of paying for compensation!

I have tweeted them, but not holding my breath for a reply. Anyone know their correct Freepost address?

If you are unable to find the right address, you can always revert to their registered address as a last resort. Companies House has it as:
HEATHROW EXPRESS OPERATING COMPANY LIMITED
THE COMPASS CENTRE
NELSON ROAD
HOUNSLOW
MIDDLESEX
TW6 2GW

(As it happens they list that address as an option on their website)

From Companies House, their registered address (same as Heathrow Airport Ltd):

Heathrow Express Operating Company Ltd, The Compass Centre, Nelson Road, Hounslow, Middlesex, TW6 2GW.

Also, re the earlier Freepost address, I wouldn't completely discount Royal Mail having made a mistake (though it does seem an unlikely prospect).

@HeathrowExpress on Twitter might provide a faster resolution.

On the basis of never assigning to malice that which can be explained by stuidty, maybe they forgot to renew the Freepost address.

No doubt justified by the fact that they haven't received any complaints or claims. :)

LON 16331 is an old style geographic freepost address; the Royal Mail have phased those out - about 3 or 4 years ago in fact.

A current freepost / reply licence post address will show a 12 character combination of random letters in three groups of four.
