I am a train driver and I have been diagnosed with central serous retinopathy also known as CSR.

I have to wait six months before I can been seen by specialist as the condition can disappear on its own.

I have been looking at getting a laser eye surgery done overseas, any suggestions on how it will impact my career as a driver and do you think the toc could penalised me?

Thank you

If you are already a driver as you say, talk to your line manager and/or ASLEF reps. They will give you advice which is actually relevant to your TOC and accurate.

Don't take the word of a load of randoms on the internet who might not have a clue...
