I've just installed SimSig London Liverpool St last night and Liverpool Lime St this evening and am having problems that trains come in and terminate but the Headcode does not change automatically and I'm having to Interpose it myself.

For example train 5H01 comes in and terminates as it should, in the right platform. I then get an alert (e.g. TRTS for 1H01) but 1H01 isn't showing. I have to Interpose that train to get the details. This happens for about 80% of trains.

It has been a while since I last went on SimSig, but I recall having similar problems on some of the routes :(

That's because in the real world, the signaller has todo it him self. Except iirc on the newer panels where it is automatically done.

Have you ticked the option in the ARS menu called ACI? Train Descriptions will only change automatically with Automatic Code Insertion enabled.

Note, ACI is only available on a few sim.

Indeed as mentioned sims which have ARS the headcodes change automatically, other sims which do not have ARS you have to manually change the headcode.
